Dixon Calif., firefighter Chris Bishop breaks windows to ventilate a two-alarm house fire Thursday, May 1, 2008. Dixon Fire Chief Alexander Rodriguez said a fence fire was reported by neighbors about 9:30 a.m. High winds quickly spread the fire to the two-story home where arriving crews found the structure well involved with flames taking about 40 minutes for firefighters to knock down. Three occupants sleeping inside were safely evacuated. Vacaville and Davis fire departments assisted in fighting the fire.
