Vacaville Unified School District

Vacaville school district managers and some trustees have donated back portions of their salaries. The superintendent and his cabinet donated an amount equal to three days pay. Other managers have donated back 1 percent of their salaries. While not subtracted from the compensation package totals, those numbers are included in this survey.

The school district has changed the way it counts professional development for its classified managers. Amounts previously listed as "honorariums and bonuses" are now included in the base pay.

Fairfield Suisun Unified School District

The district does not offer vacations per se. Managers are paid to work from 205 to 224 days per year. They earn one day of sick leave per month, or 10 to 12 days per year.

Annual health benefits range from $10,056 to $19,344 per year; managers may also receive $2,796 annually in lieu of medical benefits. Vision coverage ranges from $156 to $480 per year. The following compensation packages are figured on the maximum benefits.
